Lost and found misguided adventures

future evolution: email your baby in the wombSearching for information online or ‘Search’ has managed to work its way in to our very DNA. In fact, I’d go as far to say that I’d expect ‘search’ to be added to the genome! The way that we work, play, shop, research and interact with one another has changed…forever.

Organisations, charities, commercial operations and individuals included, are begining to understand the need to expand their digital footprint in order to be ‘seen through the noise’, but for many, understanding how search engines help people find relevant information or even how people use ‘search’ appears to have an air of witchcraft surrounding it…!

As the very structre of our society moves closer to a professional consumer — prosumer — economy, how people create, publish, distribute and ultimately find information and resources on the web will continue to be of great importance for a very long time to come. The need to research just how search — search engine optimisation — and social media are at the heart of everything are key points to explore in this ‘web nouveau’ economy.
